Beschreibung
Carnotaurus ist ein fleischfressender Raubsaurier aus der Oberkreidezeit. Er hat etwa vor 70 Millionen Jahren gelebt. Das einzige jemals gefundene Exemplar wurde in Argentinien ausgegraben. Der Carnotaurus hatte eine Länge von 9 Metern und ein geschätztes Gewicht von 1,5 bis 2 Tonnen. Seine Schnauze war rundlicher als die seiner Verwandten und seine Zähne sahen aus wie gebogene Messerklingen. Er war sicherlich einer der gefährlichsten Räuber seiner Zeit.
